CAREMA: a Slow Food presidium since 2014, a project for the promotion of biodiversity in Italy and the protection of traditional crafts. The presidia are Slow Food projects for the protection of
small, high quality productions made with traditional practices which are to be safeguarded. Slow Food has entered Carema in the list of over 200 presidia active in Italy, in view of contributing to safeguarding
a rural landscape and a traditional wine which are quite unique.
With this initiative Slow Food intends to stimulate the producers in adopting sustainable practices and developing an ethic approach to the market.
